Amber started her career in upholstery with a 3 year part-time Soft Furnishing Course and then did a further 3 years upholstery and qualified in Advanced Craft Upholstery (City and Guilds) at the City of Bristol College in 2001.
After qualifying, Amber went straight to work for an upholstery company and in 2003 she set up her own upholstery business in a small shop in the Market Square in Crediton where she traded for the next 13 years. She now works from her own workshop in the village of Poughill, 5 miles north of Crediton.
Amber uses traditional techniques to upholster a wide range of furniture, both antique and modern, to the highest standard.
In 2016 Amber started running weekly upholstery courses which have proved extremely popular and she is currently organising additional days due to high demand.
