Terms and Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

The number of Students I can accommodate on any one class is limited by the size of the venue and also I try to keep class numbers small so I can provide lots of individual attention in a friendly and professional setting. While I understand that occasionally unexpected things happen which means a student has to cancel their place on a course, cancellatons can obviously make a course less viable for me so for the benefit of my students and myself I have to have clear terms in place regarding cancellations and refunds.

Here are our general terms, and cancellation and refund policy:

• Course fees will not be refunded if a student cancels (for any reason) their place within 20 days of the start of the course. 
   
• If a student is not able to attend once they have booked their place, then there is usually the option to transfer that booking to another class at a later date if that is more suitable.
   
• If I cancel a Course the fees will be refunded in full.
   
• Tools and upholstery materials will be provided but NOT the fabric for covering your project. I will advise you on how much fabric you will need.
   
• Students are responsible for maintaining their own safety and comfort. As with any practical activity there is a small risk of an injury. Minor cuts and pin-pricks to the skin are not uncommon and only to be expected. To minimize the risk of injury please listen carefully to the health and safety talk that will be given at the start of the course. Please pay particular attention to advice regarding the proper and safe use of the tools and working at a safe distance from other students.
